This is a part of world nature what moves the worldly desires of people:
"15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever." - (1 John 2)
And the world mortal stuffs we seek are controlled by the evil one:
"19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one." - (1 John 5)
Maybe this theory is correct one, maybe it helps to understand Gospel and reach or make relation with Jesus, the light, who's not of this world nature, so escape of the control of the evil one who will use the world stuffs against you.
